HOW TO PLAN A PRESCHOOL BIRTHDAY PARTY
The biggest day of the year for a kid is his or her birthday as it is one day of the year when they get to be the center-of-attention. A birthday party is a great boost to any child self-esteem and like road trips: getting there is simply half the fun. The choice of theme, decorations and activities lined up for the day is critical to making your kid feel special and giving him or her a memorable experience of the day. The following are considerations to be made in planning a memorable party;
PLACE
If you choose to have your kids birthday party outside of your apartment, there are several off site options that come with numerous advantages (including being able to come back to a clean home after the children have been picked up). For a little fee, you can reserve a space in a recreational park in the neighborhood, museums and restaurants are also great options. Outdoor parties work better for kids over five since younger children may be overwhelmed by unfamiliar surroundings and tend to spin out of control.
THEME
Most times parents are more comfortable starting with a theme around which it is easy to organize invitations, decorations, games and food. Both you and your child will enjoy making plans that reflect his/ her interests — whether it's a sports theme, a dinosaur bash, a backyard beach picnic, or a Cinderella adventure, be sure to get them involved.
DECORATIONS
Once the theme is chosen, you can use a little creativity to set the scene. Surprisingly, kids are naturally imaginative and would play along when you decide to use simple household gadgets to transform their well-known environment into an object of their fictional imagination.
FOOD
For a brief party, cakes and ice cream would definitely be okay for refreshments, cake is looked at as the focal point of the whole birthday so be sure to allow them make it or sect it from the bakery, in all honesty, nothing beats a custom made cake for their special day. It is however important to try to give familiar favorites a twist like turning chicken wings to dinosaur wings for a prehistoric feast or serving chicken drumsticks at an orchestra themed party.
CAKES AND GOODIES
This is perhaps the most important part of your celebrations so be sure to do it in grand style.
THE BIRTHDAY CAKE

CUPCAKES
Cupcakes are a great inspiration for any party decoration and shouldn’t be excluded in your kids birthday for any reason, decorate your cupcakes with as much colors as possible, they are also very easy to serve and easier to reach everyone instead of the small problem of estimating cake servings. Flowers, letter or animal are various shapes cupcakes could come in. They could be decorated individually or grouped together to form a birthday cake made of cupcakes.
COOKIES
Cookies are the go-to-refreshments to keeps kids going at any celebration and birthdays are no exceptions, to make a lasting impression, custom made cookies or homemade cookies are the perfect choice for your occasion.

School is starting soon and what better way to send your little ones off on the first day of school than with a fun cookie shaped like a crayon? CAKE POPS
If you love seeing kids excited, you’re definitely not going to miss out on providing this for them, raised on sticks to look like lollipops, cake pops are ideal treats for children and can be served during or after the party as a take-home gift. Cake balls are also a good variant if cake pops and custom made cake pops or balls with letters or the celebrant initials are more than perfect for the occasion.
CHEAP THRILLS WITH BALLOONS
You can never have too many balloons at a child’s birthday party, as they are to an extent the ultimate symbol of children celebrations and coupled with the fact that they are inexpensive, colorful and capable of bringing a smile to everyone’s face makes them even better. You can make an archway for guest entering the home and tie one to every child’s chair as well as leave some floating in the air to give a vintage party feel.
BUBBLES
Bubbles are a favorite of most kids party especially for outdoor parties, it is a sure source of providing endless happiness for kids and it is sure to have kids dancing around the bubbles and stumping about with excitement.
THE USE OF COLORS IN SETTING THE PERFECT BIRTHDAY PARTY
After all is said and done, choosing the right colors for your occasion is almost as important as having the birthday celebration itself. It is worthy of note that various items demand various colors, the most handy and inexpensive tool to achieve this is the crayon: Crayons are the perfect way to get a unique color for your event, crayons come in different color and each can be used to add glamour to your event, this can be easily attained by asking your kid for his or her favorite color and integrating this color into the party items.
The color of all items used in the celebration should be carefully selected and should reflect the intent for which the celebration is made, your kids favorite color should be the most dominant color no matter how awful you think they look, it’s their birthday not yours, remember that.
